Grechetto Palazzone 2019

The Grechetto "Grek" is one of those wines of which the company is most proud Palazzone. It's a tribute to the appreciation and enhancement of an ancient Umbrian grape, capable of representing the tradition and uniqueness of the area. We are near the city of Orvieto, in a unique landscape that attracts those who, for the first time, come here; the landscape is dominated by Rocca Ripesena an atoll of tuff, the hills are gently rounded and the vines express the signs of a history really interesting. Here the temperature between day and night favors the development, in the grapes, an aromatic concentration remarkable. Grechetto "Grek" Palazzone born on sedimentary soils rich in clay soils exposed to the northeast, on a hilly area 240 meters above sea level. Palazzone left to ferment the wort for 20 days in stainless steel before refining this beautiful Umbrian white steel for a few months. The result is a really typical Grechetto that shows itself in all its pale yellow color and the nose offers delicate floral notes, with references to the yellow fruit.
