Etna Rosso 'Arcuria' Graci 2012

The Etna Rosso Arcuria of the cellar Graci, confirms once again our appreciation to the young winemaker who runs this reality. Alberto Aiello Graci, helped by his sister and his mother, had the courage to change his life to pursue his dream. After a degree in economics and having achieved a good job in Milan, Alberto left the city life and founded, on the slopes of Etna, the cellar that bears his name and which produces fine examples of the Etna wines with typical grapes of this area as nerello mascalese, nerello cappuccio and carricante. The Etna Rosso Arcuria is an organic wine that has been able to fascinate us. Its intense color but transparent, suggests its sincere bond with the terroir where its grapes mature. The freshness that characterizes this excellent wine convinces us, one glass after another, that we will finish the entire bottle in spite of the Arcuria can be aged in the cellar. Its minerality is a reminiscent of the black soil of Mount Etna and of the altitude of the vineyards of nerello mascalese, grown between sixhundred and seven hundred meters above the sea level. The Etna Rosso Arcuria confirms what the family Graci says about their wines, is the terroir that commands, not us.
