Bianco Polvanera 2022

The Bianco by Minutolo grapes is an amazing wine signed by Filippo Cassano, the soul of the winery Polvanera, the landmark of Gioia del Colle. A territory that remains in shadow in the past, but that Philip has enhanced with its Primitivo, but also with the rediscovery of Fiano Minutolo, a vine until recently abandoned to itself, without attention from local growers.

A white grape variety, however, that has its own personality that resembles the aromatic Moscato and Greco, and that has nothing to do with the Fiano, despite the name can be misleading. Filippo works his Fiano Minutolo entirely of steel and in doing so manages to express a freshness and a wealth really interesting.

Citrus fruits and nuts come together in a surprising drink, with a sip agile where we also find the lime flowers, the fresh citrus notes and memories of elder and peach. The scent is enchanting, in the mouth instead is much more agile and quick, dry, beautiful freshness, with returns more delicate and aromatic purposes.
